Our second off season workout.  The coldest
weather we could have at the time and we are
starting to see what kind of team we are shaping
out to be.  The were still a good hand full of guys
that showed up to a workout at 32degrees with a
wind chill of 21 degrees.  It was a good turnout
(about thirty something guys) and we ended with
an inter squad challenge.  Offense vs Defense and
the Defense won again.

No matter the turn out, I was a bit disappointed with
the lack of participation with some of the returning
players.  These are the same guys that didn't give
up all year when they had almost everything going
against them.  Now the have a coach where they
didn't have one most of the year last year and they
cannot make it out to the off season workout to get
a start of the next season.  It bothers me a bit, but
makes my job so much easier in the long run.  I
don't have to figure them out now that they showed
me their heart (or lack of heart).

For the guys that were there, I really appreciated
the dedication to be better, to meet the new
teammates and compete with them.  The first
workout we didn't have a quarterback, this workout
we had three.  Not too many DB's came out, but we
had running backs, full backs, and receivers
coming to play.  I cant wait for the January workout
where we will be indoors and gearing up for the
February tryouts.
